Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday — a time to slow down, gather with loved ones, and reflect on the blessings around us. This year, I want to use that spirit of gratitude to help local families who may be struggling.
I’m organizing a small community food drive called Thanks FOR Giving, and I’d love your help! We’re collecting pre-packaged snacks and canned goods that children and families can easily eat and enjoy.
Here are a few simple donation ideas:
🥫 Canned soups, fruits, vegetables, pasta or sauces
🍪 Granola bars, crackers, peanut butter, apple sauce or fruit cups
🥣 Boxed mac & cheese, cereal or instant oatmeal
If you’d like to donate, just call/text me or reply back to this message, and we’ll schedule a porch pickup — no need to go out of your way! If you prefer to give monetarily, we’ll happily purchase extra supplies on your behalf.
Our goal is to gather all donations by Friday, November 21st.
And if you know of a specific family in need, please reach out to me privately. We’d love to help however we can.
Let’s make this season a little brighter for our neighbors — because that’s what Thanksgiving is all about. 🧡
