Fall is just around the corner, and that means festival season is heating up in Georgia. Whether you’re into music, crafts, food, or just a good time outdoors, here are a few fall festivals happening soon that are absolutely worth penciling into your calendar:

What to Expect: This is Georgia’s official state fair. You’ll find agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, home & fine arts competitions, live concerts, midway rides, fireworks, and plenty of fair delicacies.
When: October 10–12 & October 16–18, 2025
What to Expect: Held at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, this festival features concerts (Neal McCoy, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins), arts & crafts vendors, pioneer village exhibits, carnival rides, and more.
Admission (for the village/crafts part) is $7 per person; kids 12 and under are free. Carnival rides and concerts often have separate pricing.
When: October 4–5, 2025
What to Expect: Located right in the heart of Atlanta, this beloved festival features music, an artist market, food, kids’ activities, rides, and special events like the Tour of Homes and a Fall Ball. Entry is free.
When: October 11, 2025 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
What to Expect: Over 250 artisan vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, costume contests, and more in Monroe’s historic downtown area.
Check festival websites one or two days before in case times or details change.
Arrive early — parking and traffic can get busy.
Bring cash & cards — some vendors might be card-only, others cash-preferred.
Check if concerts or rides cost extra — some festivals separate general admission from special events.
Comfortable shoes & weather prep — Georgia weather in early October can vary; layers are your best friend.
These festivals give you a mix of big fair energy, mountain charm, local arts, and family fun—whatever your vibe. Which one are you planning to check out first?
